I cannot say enough good things about Dr Edward and Dr Jean. They, along with their staff, are the best doctors I have ever been to. My husband and I started going to them due to infertility issues. They spent countless hours with us, checked everything you can imagine including gut health and all, and had the compassion needed at the time. Through all our struggles, dr Edward found out why I kept having miscarriages. He was the only one who ever gave me answers and actually diagnosed me. He then gave me a care plan and some specialists to see. Because of Dr Edward, Dr Jean and the staff, we now have a beautiful baby boy.I appreciate everyone here and refer all my friends and family to them. They are the best!

I wanted to schedule a fertility appointment to find a trustworthy doctor so my partner and I could start trying to have a family. However, when I called, they refused because we are not married. While I understand the traditional view that marriage is a prerequisite for starting a family, times have changed. My partner and I have been together for seven years and have been trying to conceive for five. It is disheartening that we are being denied help simply because we do not have a marriage certificate. I wonder if these restrictions also affect the LGBTQ community. I hope they do not discriminate, as I see it as unfair to treat any person differently. What if I were a woman trying to have a baby on my own? Is it ethically problematic? We are financially stable, we have a home, and we can offer a good upbringing. I am confused and disheartened by this clinic.

I have been a patient of Morning Star for about 9 years. I have come to Dr Jean for multiple health isssues from women’s health to general concerns. Her knowledge and confidence far surpasses any doctor I have ever been too. Dr Eddie has been a great addition to the practice. He personally calls you with blood test results and genuinely cares about your health. Both doctors believe in getting to the root of the health problem instead of throwing you on long term medications. If you ever have any questions you can easily email either of them through the patient portal. The office staff are great too and very helpful. Any question for the doctor or refill request are promptly given to the doctor in the same day. I can’t recommend this practice enough!

I love the open access of the concierge plan and not having to worry about getting a big bill in the mail because of my high deductible health insurance plan.Dr. Jean and Dr. Eddie are very helpful, thorough and take the time to listen. As practitioners of Functional Medicine they think outside the box and I believe they are on the leading edge of health care. I am a pretty healthy person so it came as a shock when my previous doctor told me he heard a heart murmur and that I needed an electrocardiogram. Which with my high deductible insurance would have cost around 3,000 out of pocket. Also this doctor didnt even re-listen to see if it was actually there. Probably was around a 5-10 minute appointment. I found that odd so I setup an appointment with Morningstar off a recommendation for a second opinion.The experience was vastly different. First Dr. Eddie listened to my heart in multiple positions, over my shirt, under my shirt, standing, squatting, leaning over etc... without hearing anything. But to double check he even brought in Dr. Jean for a second listen. To which she could not hear anything. I was there an hour and a half with extensive testing versus 10 minutes with a guy who just wanted to write me off to get testing done without even double checking.Have since recommended all my friends and family there. The ones that have gone are blown away with the experience compared to other doctor offices and have nothing but great things to say!

This doctors office is a small, Christian-based, establishment supported in part by the voluntary, monthly membership of its participating patients. We love the professional care and camaraderie found here with all members of the staff. The doctors provide each patient with the time and patience necessary to address health concerns with knowledgeable, focused, and pro-active care. We like the emphasis on treating health problems from their source, issuing medication only as necessary. Among its many medical services, Morningstar also offers a life-style health and wellness program, including nutrition coaching, which is exceptional for those of us who seek to live longer, healthier lives.

Dr. Jean provided terrible care to me. I was over patient for over 9 months, and she ignored a serious diagnosis which had severe negative effects on my fertility. After my new doctor reviewed my medical record, he properly followed up on my diagnosis with further testing and now I will be getting surgery to correct my problem. When I confronted Dr. Jean about her mistake, she said she did not have enough time to review my case which was a lie since I had emailed her about my diagnosis in March, then left her practice in June when I wasnt getting an answer. They claim to find the problem and fix the problem but all they really do is find the problem ignore the problem and maybe if youre lucky you will get pregnant and have a healthy baby. Many people in the practice dont even get pregnant for years, and I know one woman who used the method for 8 years before finally getting pregnant. Being Dr. Jeans patient has been a terrible and emotionally draining experience for my husband and I. I would not recommend her a a physician unless you want to experience fertility heartbreak.

I woke up with bad bruising on my legs and was scared of what may be happening with my health; I immediately called Dr. Jean Tevold at Morningstar Family Health Center in Clinton, NJ to see if I could get an appointment as soon as possible. Dr. Jean had me come in that morning and her as well as her dedicated staff made me feel comfortable and less scared than I initially was. After a very comprehensive testing, I was assured that it was not anything to worry about, and the follow up blood results confirmed that diagnosis. I will not hesitate to go back to Morningstar Family Health Center, nor will I hesitate in referring Morningstar to friends, family, or anyone who asks!Terri Gregg

I lived out of the area for a period of time and one of the best parts of moving back to Jersey was being able to return to Dr. Jeans practice.

Ive had such a wonderful experience at Morningstar Family Health Center. Dr Jean is so knowledgeable and caring with my health. If I forget to ask something during my office visit I can always ask through their message portal any concerns I may have and I get a thorough response. The staff is just a dream. They are so sweet caring and friendly.

The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Our family of 7 all go here now. I like the fact that the doctor actually takes the time to listen to you in order to find the root of the problem. I am extremely happy with our healthcare at MorningStar.

Best primary care Ive ever had. Always thorough so as to keep me in best health. Ive never felt rushed ... as has often been the case with other providers.

These are some of the best Dr Jean and Dr Eddie are the most caring professionals Ive met in a long time. They actually spend time with you. There staff is also awsome.

I was given careful consideration during appointments. Follow up outstanding. I did not think health care of this caliber existed. I would give 6 stars if I could.
